Programs
Stories, friendships, counting, building, questions, and imagination.
Junior Kindergarten learners explore early literacy, math readiness, science thinking, art, dramatic play, movement, and cooperative routines that prepare them for the next step.
Classroom readiness
Children practice listening, sharing ideas, following multi-step routines, and caring for classroom materials.
Hands-on learning
Blocks, art, sensory bins, nature items, books, songs, and games make abstract ideas concrete.
Confidence in groups
Small-group projects and classroom jobs help children see themselves as capable contributors.
Daily Routine
Junior Kindergarten Daily Routine
Families can use this rhythm as a friendly guide to the day. Exact timing may flex with weather, children's needs, and classroom flow.
Our Junior Kindergarten program is focused on growing and developing into strong independent learners, getting ready for Kindergarten. Program planning is deigned to create a learning community where all children feel loved, respected and encouraged to develop to their fullest potential. We value each child's uniqueness and understand that each child learns differently and at their own pace. Our goal is to support each student to grow through a series of positive experiences and appropriate role modeling.
